Depending on a child’s age will determine the room they enter.

Room Leaders: Room Leaders play an essential role in the day to day running of our nurseries. They are meticulously organised, passionate and energetic. Room leaders are responsible for providing the highest standard of supervision, guidance and education as well as a stimulating and varied programme of care. They lead, mentor and manage the staff in their rooms and are a key point of contact for all children and their families.

Keyworker: This member of staff will work closely with parents to update them on their Child’s development. Each child in our care has their own Key Person. Your child’s Key Person is responsible for providing you and your child with a positive, loving and secure relationship. They will be a dedicated point of contact for you. Making sure that our care is tailored to meet the individual needs and circumstances of your child and your family.

Nursery Practitioners: Nursery Practitioners are Level 2 and 3 qualified in Early Years Childcare who assist the Room leaders in charge of each room. Practitioners assist in the running of the room and the daily programme. They are a Key Worker for children and their families and play a significant role in the children’s daily care and development. Practitioners are multi-cultural and bring their different cultures and languages into our settings.

Nursery Chef: Our dedicated Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking our delicious, nutritious and organic menus on-site in our nursery kitchen. Our Chef caters to all children under the age of 5. Including babies that are weaning and all special dietary requirements are catered for within our menus. Our aim as a nursery is to encourage healthy eating because we know how important it is for children to eat balanced and nutritional food.

Before a child’s enrolment, we require a 3 day settling in period.

  • The activities which are carried out within the nursery are centred on what the children prefer to do, following the EYFS guidelines, but we do put in place activities for them to choose from.
